ABOUT THIS SPACE

Living between becoming and arriving.

A journal of uncertainty, rebuilding, and the quiet process of learning who I am becoming.

THE STORY

I started this blog during a season of uncertainty.

Somewhere between big changes, unanswered questions, and the quiet work of rebuilding myself, I found comfort in documenting the in-between moments.

For years, being a chef has been a big part of who I am. But as I wait for my work visa to be renewed offshore, with no clear timeframe or certainty about what comes next, I have found myself questioning more than just where I will go. I am also figuring out who I am beyond my identity as a chef—and what else I want to become.

Nobody really talks about how taxing it can be to wait for something unknown. So while I wait, I am trying not to put my life on hold. I keep learning, exploring, and finding new parts of myself along the way.

Food, my studies and practice in TCM, and books have become ways for me to stay grounded. They give me something to return to when the future feels uncertain, while also opening doors to new ideas, skills, and possibilities.

This space is where I document that journey—the reflections, the slow days, the things I am learning, and everything that shapes me along the way.

I may not have all the answers yet. But perhaps that is what The In Between Project is about: learning to live, grow, and keep becoming, even when you do not know exactly where you are heading.

Currently

Rebuilding routines and learning to slow down.

Loving rainy cafés, warm meals, and quiet books.

Learning to trust timing and release control.

Dreaming of a life with travel, nature, and freedom.

Maybe this phase isn’t falling behind. Maybe it’s becoming.

Thanks for being here.
