What do you want to be when you grow up?
It’s a question I’ve been asked countless times, and one I never quite knew how to answer. Whenever I did answer, it was always different.
Now, I think I understand why.
There isn’t just one answer.
For the longest time, I believed I had to choose a single path, a single identity, a single thing to become. But growing older has taught me that I don’t have to be only one thing. I can be many things, as long as I allow myself to be.
Right now, I am:
- A chef
- A polyglot
- A writer
- A bibliophile
- An adventurer
And as I continue learning about myself, I’m sure the list will keep growing.
Why limit myself to one version of who I can be when I can become many?
There is something exciting about discovering new interests, developing new skills, and embracing different parts of myself. It reminds me that growth isn’t about arriving at a final destination—it’s about allowing yourself to evolve.
